From now until sometime in mid-august I am a vegetarian.
Just to prove to myself that I can do it. And that clean eating isn’t incredibly difficult like I seem to view it as.
Me and a couple friends of mine got together today and did the first day of the Insanity 60 day challenge work out. I seriously felt my lunch come up a couple times. It was nuts. I can’t walk. Oh my gosh.
Basically, the key to Insanity is that if you don’t feel like you’re dying, you’re doing it wrong.
It was awesome.
Today, I’ve been really really ill, so my food diary is pretty short: Peanut butter and juice.
Exercise wise, I managed to pull off some yoga.
But I won’t be able to start running again until i buy my knee braces. (I damaged up my knees pretty bad a few years ago and it’s pretty much impossible to run now without extreme pain.)
Anyway, tomorrow is memorial day! Be sure to thank your men who have served our country!
I will be spending tomorrow with my grandparents in Tupelo, with a family BBQ, so wish me luck that I can resist unhealthy temptation ^.^

• Slept through Breakfast
• Two homemade Tacos for lunch with fresh cut pineapple.
• Grilled Pork chops for dinner with corn on the cob.
• Grapes for any snacks
• 50 jumping jacks
• 2 sets of planks
• Some freakin hard Yoga ^.^
So far, I have zero motivation. It’s really hard to get started. Tomorrow starts the couch-to-5K. But I am hoping once I get going and ween myself off of junk foods, I’ll feel more energy and motivation.

So, I’ve been saying for a long time now that I want to get more “In shape.” When I worked at Sonic I was constantly busy with school and church and work and I put on about ten pounds in easy Sonic meals and other bad fast food snacks. Now that it’s summer time — and the summer before my senior year— I’d like to get rid of that because I’d like to live a healthier lifestyle, to have more energy for my best year of high school coming up and to also get rid of some of this guilt and self-esteem issues i’ve been facing since I left Sonic.
I know so many people at my school and on tumblr who have tried to lose weight in a very unhealthy way, and I’d like to change that. I want to lose weight the healthy way: Exercise and a better diet. So, in order to keep up with this and not back track like I’ve done in the past, I’m going to be posting a lot of my “fitness journey” on tumblr, as a way of accountability by knowing other people will be reading this. Thanks so much, guys.
